Changes: Elite Octoomba

Elite Octoombas are a sub specie of Goombas. They made their first debut in the game: Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are a sub sub specie because they are a sub specie of the Octoomba and the Octoomba is a sub specie of a Goomba.

Attack Style

Elite Octoombas are a dangerous foe compared to the normal Octoomba. They will jump around and when Mario or Luigi gets close enough, it will release two balls at the player in a quick succession. The player can tell when it will attack by the Octoomba turning red and putting it neck back.

Galaxy Appearances

They make several debuts in some of the galaxies. They are first encountered in Boulder Bash Galaxy.
