Elite Octoombas are a sub specie of Goombas. They made their first debut in the game: Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are tech a sub sub specie because they are a sub species of the Octoomba and the Octoomba is a sub species of a Goomba.
Attack Style[]
Elite Octoombas are a dangerous foe compared to the normal Octoomba. They will jump around and when Mario or Luigi gets close enough, it will release two balls at the player in a quick succession. The player can tell when it will attack by the Octoomba turning red and putting it neck back.
Galaxy Appearances[]
They make several debuts in some of the galaxies. They are first encountered in Boulder Bash Galaxy.
